Summerbash comes to a close...

As the Summerbash internship program comes to an end, we've been taking time to reflect on what we've learned and what important changes we've made to further the Gnash project. I've summarized the what we've achieved on this wiki page. More after the jump...

The methods we've implemented have helped to move along the Gnash project and some of the changes have directly influenced Gnash's compatibility with sites categorized as important sites for compatibility. The strikeouts on this wiki page reflect the improvement of Gnash since the Summerbash program began a few months ago.

The Summerbash program, for me specifically, has been incredibly useful as I still have another two years to go before I obtain my undergraduate degree in computer science. The real-life experience I've gained working on this fast paced and important free software project will be beneficial to me in the future, but has also exposed me to the world of free software. I currently work closely with the Computer Science department at the University of Colorado at Boulder and hope to utilize what I've learned this summer in improving free software's exposure in the undergraduate curriculum.

Thanks, OpenMediaNow! This summer program has been an awesome learning experience!
